FACEBOOK LIVE TEAM:

Remember why we do it. Our vision is to create an atmosphere where people meet the Hope for their soul...the Person of Jesus Christ and the hope He offers for the situation they're in.

Praying with others in the church is a great privilege and amazing opportunity to be used by God. In this moment people are coming to you raw and vulnerable. Be prayerful even before arriving that God would give you wisdom and divine appointment for everyone you encounter Sunday morning.

Our standards for FACEBOOK LIVE

  • Check the internet connect to your device right after team worship, this will ensure that you have enough time to resolve any issue before service starts.

    • If you’re hosting from a phone you need the Facebook Page app, if you’re hosting from a desktop computer you can host straight from Facebook.

  • Live Stream starts at 10:25 so it’s a good idea to make sure your seated/situated and ready to go at 10:20.

  • Notes regarding communicating during the live stream:

    • When the live stream starts, greet everyone. greet again a couple of times, but only as groups of people join.

    • Make sure to post a line or two along with links when announcements featured connection cards and anchor groups (see sample text below).

    • During the message make sure to post the entire scripture reference that pastor Josh is sharing that way if the viewer missed it on the screen, it is available in the feed for reference.

    • During prayer make sure to let people know we were available to pray with them (see sample text below). Prayer can be facilitated easily by commenting to a person in the feed. At that point Facebook will ask if you want to send the message again and launch a DM.

      • Comment with something simple like “We would be happy to pray with you.” and then launch the DM that way the conversation isn’t visible by everyone watching.

    • At the end of service, people may comment about how the message spoke to them, so responded back. It’s important to acknowledge them.

  • 9:30am is the appropriate arrival time for this position. It’s important for whoever is hosting to hear from pastor Josh (or whoever is preaching) what is going to happen in the service, and then have enough time to check their technology (internet connection) before the service starts.

Below is some sample text to use at different points in the live stream:
